DYNA TWO-STAGE REV LIMITER
Dyna DRL-400 Two Stage Rev Limiter has been specifically designed
to maximize launch performance and over rev protection in drag
racing. The DRL-400 allows a precisely controlled launch rpm
limit to be set, while also guaranteeing against over-rev damage
due to missed shifts or drive train breakage. Selection between
the launch limit and the upper over rev limit is usually made
through the use of a clutch lever switch. Both rpm limits are
adjusted via two knobs on the DRL-400.
The DRL-400 constantly monitors engine
rpm with great precision and randomly deletes ignition pulses
to hold the engine at the desired rpm. The DRL-400 can hold a
270 horsepower engine to a steady launch rpm with less then +/-
50 rpm waver. Other launch limiters typically make the engine
rpm waver through a pounding 700 rpm oscillation. This can be
very hard on expensive engine components.

DYNA REV LIMITER
Over reving due to missed shifts is a common
cause of engine failure. Dyna Rev Limiters effectively prevent
your engines rpm from exceeding a predetermined rev limit that
is totally user adjustable. At or above the selected rpm, any
further spark is suppressed until rpm falls below that level.
The limiting action of the DRL-300 is very smooth and precise.

|AN IMPORTANT WORD ABOUT REV LIMITERS
If your motorcycle is equipped with a factory pre-set rev limiter in the ignition box, these limiters will not extend your upper rpm limit. If you set one of these limiters above the factory rev limiter, the factory limiter will still limit. To raise factory limit, see Dyna 2000
DYNA SHIFT MINDER SHIFT
The Dyna shift light features a machined
billet aluminum housing and is designed to withstand the vibration
on a motorcycle. It is the most popular among racers. The RPM
is set using the Dyna Shift Minder control box included in the
system.The Dyna Shift Minder control module has been designed
with extremely accurate circuitry to insure triggering accuracy
to better than ± 1/2%. The Shift Minder control module
is adjustable to switch at any of 64 different rpm settings with
125 rpm increments between settings. The Shift Minder is self
contained and requires no additional parts for shift point selection.

DYNA ignition wires are available with
solid copper core for bikes without factory black box ignitions
or computers, where interference is not a problem. For bikes
with factory electronic advance systems (black box) or aftermarket
ignitions such as the Dyna 4000 and/or racing computer systems,
use Dyna suppression wires with high grade graphite core for
best performance and noise suppression. Both types insure maximum
energy transfer and 135° snap on boots for easy installation.
